On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Foundation proudly hosted the 43rd Annual Gala at the Beaumont Civic Center. The evening brought together nearly 1,000 guests for a memorable night in support of women and children’s services across CHRISTUS Southeast Texas.
We were honored to welcome country music icon Martina McBride, whose unforgettable performance made the night truly special and kept the crowd on their feet.
An Unforgettable Evening in Support of Our Community
One of the most joyful highlights of the evening was the introduction of our 2026 Children’s Miracle Network Champion, Trace White, who captured hearts across the room. His story (and personality) is a powerful reminder of why this work matters and the lives changed through the generosity of our community.
In a heartfelt moment on stage, Trace was presented with his CMN Champion medal, a meaningful symbol of his strength and the journey he has overcome, bringing the room to its feet.
** Special thank you to Lamar Institute of Technology for Sponsoring the Children’s Miracle Network table! **
Stories That Inspired and Impact That Matters
This year’s Mission Moment focused on the expansion of our Forensic Nursing Program and the development of a dedicated Follow-Up Clinic, ensuring survivors receive continued, compassionate care beyond the emergency room.
Forensic nurses provide specialized care for individuals affected by violence, offering medical support, evidence collection, and guidance during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. The addition of a follow-up clinic ensures patients have access to ongoing care in a safe, supportive environment.
Through a powerful video and award presentation, guests gained a deeper understanding of the critical role this program plays in our community.

Grateful for a Community That Gives Back
This year’s Gala highlighted critical advancements that will strengthen care for patients and families across our region, including:
- Continued investment in women and children’s services across CHRISTUS Southeast Texas
- Support for specialized programs like Forensic Nursing, providing care for survivors of violence
- Expansion of training and technology through initiatives like our Simulation Lab, helping prepare the next generation of caregivers
Guests were reminded that every dollar raised stays local, directly impacting patients and families in Beaumont, Mid County, Jasper, and Orange.
